My Dear Collegues;

As you know, we will want to begin testing out the newly constructed reconstitution systems once we have rebuilt certain key portions of that infrastructure, if you'd like to nominate someone to take part in this shake down of the reconstitution equipment, please indicate your choice here. Please note that while these systems have been thouroughly checked on humans, the new flora and fauna on the surface have proven to be dangerous and quite predatory.

Please only nominate those who were thrown into backup when the fragment hit, it's very important that those we choose for reconstitution are those who we are trying to rescue in the first place. Nominating current VCA citizens (or other survivors) is counter to the goals of the Reconstution directorate. We have to shake down all the systems, including intake, orientation and training so having experienced citizens nominated will not be helpful.

We've also had reports of vast stretches of radioactive and bio-contaminated areas. Also note, the implants that are issued on the surface are of a new kind, with sensors for locating the entanglement cylinders that they might come within range of. Also, the contamination sensors are a of a highly sensitive design. They cannot shut these sensors off.

It is interesting to note that large rewards have been made available to those who locate these entanglement cylinders and a smaller one is available to those who help us map the contaminated areas. While this may not ameliorate their animosity at being reconstituted onto a deeply damaged world, these rewards might serve to placate them.
